Absolutely excellent piece of software
Honestly, I love ScreenKite! I’ve been using screenstudio for about a year and there were some random bugs and things that annoyed me.
I feel like SK has more features, although the UI is a bit more complex as a result.
I think the real benefit for me is the better scrubbing, and the ability to include additional video clips to the video timeline.
The AI integration is also interesting but I honestly haven’t used it much yet personally.
Probably the feature that I would be interested in seeing added would be a more traditional timeline layout where we can split out video and audio, add some transitions between clips etc.
Basically a poor mans version of your fav movie editor would be amazing. It could really take the place of a few pieces of paid software.
In saying that, should SK end up going with a pricing option - please forgo the subscription nightmare and just go with a version-locked pricing model perhaps? I say this as a SaaS founder as well - managing the subscriptions and modelling churn is just a waste of energy. People will pay a higher price for ownership licenses and you will generally get good usage out of it for product development purposes as well!
Lots of <3 for building SK - have been introducing all sorts of people to it for the last few weeks haha.
